hand-embroidered with chrome or nickel-plated buttons all down the front and on the cuffs and in the back! All the buttons are present and the backs of the buttons are etched--a pity you don't see them! Navy wool with red trim and cream embroidery in a wheat shaft motif. Lined in twill with ticking in the sleeves. Has been professionally drying cleaned recently. I found a couple of moth holes on one shoulder the size of small nail heads and one between the wheat embroidery on the front. If there are more, I haven't seen them. please convo for photos. Has these two long braided ropes in the front that attach at the ends, from all the photos, these are worn around the neck and the coat was worn open except at the neck(here is a hook)Also the buttons are purely decorative, not functional. And the front pockets are not functional but there are two inside breast pockets. Also, I visited the Czech Folk Museum recently and saw a jacket on display that was similar in style. Extremely well made and a piece of Czech history.
